The following questions and answers are meant to assist
your understanding of the TRAVEL CHOICE INTERNATIONAL (hereafter TCI) program.
CONDO REWARDS
HOW MANY
RESERVATIONS PER YEAR CAN I MAKE?
You may enjoy as many luxury
accommodation reservations per year as you desire based on availability.
WHAT IS THE
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SHORT NOTICE, SELECT, AND PREMIUM CONDOS?
Generally, they are the same
luxury accommodations reserved at various lengths of time prior to the
arrival date. For example, SHORT NOTICE CONDOS are usually within the next 30
days and are priced from $299 to $349 for the entire week. SELECT CONDOS give you a
longer window of time to reserve your accommodation and PREMIUM
CONDOS allow you true, long term planning of your next vacation. The
longer reservation times incur slightly higher weekly rates; however, they
are always priced at incredible savings!
CAN I MAKE MY
CONDO RESERVATION ONLINE?
Yes, all availability is in real
time and can be reserved online or you may call the TCI hotline and speak with
a live vacation counselor.
HOTEL REWARDS
CAN I USE REWARD
DOLLARS TO TOTALLY PAY FOR THE ROOM?
No. Hotel reward dollars are
utilized as a greatly reduced rate available to members only. For example, if
the lowest rate available to the public is $125 and there are $40 hotel reward
dollars accepted, then the net cost would be only $85. The $40 will be deducted
from your hotel reward balance.
CAN UNUSED HOTEL
REWARD DOLLARS ACCUMULATE FROM YEAR TO YEAR?
No. Hotel reward dollars are good
for one year from the enrollment date. Upon the annual renewal of your
membership, your hotel rewards account is replenished with a new balance of
up to $3000 for the upcoming year.
CAN I RESERVE
HOTELS WITH MY REWARD DOLLARS ONLINE?
Definitely. Just have your credit
card information available, see how much money you will save on a nightly basis
and make the reservation. All arrangements are made online and NOT directly
with the hotel. You always have the option to call the TCI hotline and speak
with one of our friendly vacation counselors.
IS THERE ANY WAY
TO SAVE ON HOTELS THAT ARE NOT PARTICIPATING IN THE HOTEL REWARDS PROGRAM?
Absolutely! Just call the TCI
hotline and we will negotiate the lowest available rate on your behalf.
Generally, this will not be necessary as literally thousands of hotels
worldwide participate in the hotel rewards program.
HOW FAR IN
ADVANCE DO I HAVE TO MAKE MY RESERVATION?
Some hotels require a few days
advance notice, but most hotels can be reserved as little as the same day that
you want to check in.
AIRLINE AND CAR RENTALS
DO I BOOK AIRLINE AND CAR RENTALS DIRECT OR ONLINE?
No. Simply call the TCI hotline
and we will handle all the arrangements for you. Remember, we have the price match
guarantee on airline tickets.
CRUISES
I SEE THE CRUISE
PACKAGES AND THE AVAILABLE CRUISE REWARD DOLLARS. CAN I BOOK ONLINE OR DIRECT?
No. Just call the TCI hotline and
we will handle all your arrangements and answer any questions about your trip.
MY MEMBERSHIP
IS MY TCI
MEMBERSHIP TRANSFERRABLE?
Absolutely! For a nominal $250
administration fee, you can transfer, will, or sell your membership anytime?
CAN I LET OTHER
PEOPLE USE MY TCI MEMBERSHIP?
Only members are allowed the
privileges of TCI; however, guests are always welcome to accompany you.
WHAT IS THE
ANNUAL INVESTMENT ACTIVATION FEE?
It is a nominal $99 per year. This
occurs on the anniversary date of your enrollment. Upon your renewal, we automatically deposit
up to $3000 hotel reward dollars into your account. A couple of nights savings in
hotels should equal the annual fee!
HOW LONG DOES
IT TAKE TO ACTIVATE MY MEMBERSHIP?
It generally takes 15 days from the
time of receipt of all required funds. All financial transactions must be made
to TRAVEL CHOICE INTERNATIONAL. TCI DOES
NOT accept responsibility for any funds directed to a third party.
HOW LONG IS MY MEMBERSHIP GOOD FOR?
As
long as your membership stays activated on a yearly basis, your benefits will
be available to you.
